2nd Round of Technical Negotiations between the EU and Five Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) Countries for the Deepening of the currently implemented Economic Partnership Agreement  06 - 08 July 2020   The European Union (EU) and the five Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) countries, namely Mauritius, Comoros, Madagascar, Seychelles, and Zimbabwe, implementing the interim Economic and Partnership Agreement, met virtually from 06 to 08 July to hold the second technical round of negotiations for the deepening of the agreement. WTO Fifth Trade Policy Review of Mauritius WTO, Ge ...

The fifth Trade Policy Review (TPR) of Mauritius will be held on 3 and 5 November 2021 at the WTO Secretariat, in Geneva, instead of 27 and 29 April 2021.  The previously agreed timeline could not be respected, due to the emergency sanitary and economic lockdowns imposed in Mauritius and Switzerland as a consequence of the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.   The fifth Trade Policy Review of Mauritius will be based on two reports, namely the WTO Secretariat Report and the Government of Mauritius Report.   The Report of the Government of Mauritius shall describe all the trade policies and practices pursued by Government, including all changes introduced in our trade policies and practices since the ...

  The Honourable Nandcoomar BODHA, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, participated in a live video-conference on 1st July 2020 on the theme of “Close the Digital Divides: the Digital Response to Covid-19”, jointly organized by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and Singapore.  The Ministers of Foreign Affairs and High Officials of over 60 countries worldwide, including the Hon.
