Diplomatic Gathering

​On Friday 17 January 2020, the Honourable Nandcoomar Bodha (G.C.S.K), Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, hosted a Diplomatic Gathering in order to convey his New Year Greetings to the Diplomatic and Consular Corps accredited to Mauritius. The Hon Minister met with the Charge d'Affaires a.i of the High Commission of Australia, Mrs Alison Shea, and expressed his deep condolences to Mrs Shea and through her to the bereaved families of those who have lost their lives and property following the spread of bushfires across Australia.   Both the Hon Minister and the Charge d'Affaires a.i. agree to closely follow up the situation, and share information particularly with regard to the Mauritian community in Australia.

Comoros Donors’ Conference, 2-3 December 2019, Par ...

​Mauritius participated in the Comoros Donors’ Conference (Conférence des partenaires au développement des Comores) held at the headquarters of the World Bank in Paris, France, from 2 to 3 December 2019.  H.E. Mr. V. Valaydon, Ambassador Mauritius in Paris, and Mr H. Bhugun, First Secretary attended the Conference. Mauritius hosts the first African Economic Platform from 20 to 22 March 2017

​The inaugural session of the African Economic Platform (AEP) will be held in  Westin Turtle Bay Resort,  Balaclava, from 20 to 22 March 2017.
