​Mauritius participated in the Comoros Donors’ Conference (Conférence des partenaires au développement des Comores) held at the headquarters of the World Bank in Paris, France, from 2 to 3 December 2019.  H.E. Mr. V. Valaydon, Ambassador Mauritius in Paris, and Mr H. Bhugun, First Secretary attended the Conference. The objective of the Conference, which was sponsored by France, the World Bank and the UNDP, was to mobilise Euros 4.2 billion for development projects under the Plan Comores Emergent-PCE.  Mauritius pledged a USD 500,000 interest free line of credit to be repaid in instalments over a ten-year period to procure goods and services from Mauritius as well as an “in-kind” contribution in the areas of e-government and vocational t ...

​The 9th African, Caribbean and Pacific Group (ACP) Summit of Heads of State and Government, themed “A Transformed ACP: Committed to Multilateralism” will take place from 9 to 10 December 2019 in Nairobi, Kenya. Mauritius hosts the first African Economic Platform from 20 to 22 March 2017

​The inaugural session of the African Economic Platform (AEP) will be held in  Westin Turtle Bay Resort,  Balaclava, from 20 to 22 March 2017.
