US Trade Mission to Mauritius – Corporate Council on Africa 
A business delegation from the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) visited Mauritius from 18-19 May 2015, as part of CCA’s Southeast Africa Trade Mission which also comprised visits to Madagascar and Mozambique. The CCA is the first American organization devoted to U.S.-Africa business relations. The business delegation was led by Mr. Paul Hinks, Chairman of the Board of CCA and CEO of Symbion Power.
The objective of the trade mission was to establish strategic connections with the local business community and key economic decision-makers and to explore opportunities in the areas of energy, infrastructure, agribusiness and technology. During the visit, the CCA delegation had meetings with Mauritian dignitaries and senior officials, as well as working sessions with the Board of Investment, the Enterprise Mauritius, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and members of the private sector.
