The Honourable Prime Minister of Mauritius has in a letter to the President of the Republic of Mozambique, His Excellency Filipe J. Nyusi, congratulated the Mozambican Government and the leadership of RENAMO for the historical signature of Peace Agreements, including the Peace and National Reconciliation Agreement. This signature signals both parties’ willingness to ensure the political, social and economic stability of the country and paves the way for the holding of peaceful elections on 15 October 2019.
The Honourable Prime Minister of Mauritius further underlined both our countries’ endeavour towards building sustainable societies and towards ensuring the welfare of our peoples through continuous dialogues.
